Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s performance against Manchester City on Wednesday evening.

Celtic held City to a 3-3 draw at Celtic Park in Champions League Group C.

Pep Guardiola’s side headed into the game in Glasgow as favourites and were expected to pick up all three points.

However, the Bhoys gave the Premier League side a run for their money and deservedly bagged a point.

Former Tottenham and Chelsea midfielder Hoddle has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager, who now works as a pundit for BT Sport, has praised the Hoops for their performance, and has admitted that Celtic proved him wrong.

Hoddle has predicted on Zapsportz.com Celtic to lose 2-0 to City at Celtic Park.

Brendan Rodgers celebrates

Celtic played well against City, and showed that at Celtic Park, they can be a match for any team in the world.

The performance against the Citizens will have given some hope to the Celtic fans of progressing to the last 16 of the Champions League.

It is going to be tough for the Glasgow giants, as Barcelona and City have far superior squads, but stranger things have happened in football.
