Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle has told Football London that he reckons Spurs fans will see the best of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura at Wembley Stadium.

The Guardian claim Moura, 25, is in north London ahead of completing a deadline-day move to Mauricio Pochettino’s side for a fee believed to be in the region of £25million.

Moura, who has 18 months remaining on his current PSG contract, has been afforded just 71 minutes of Ligue 1 action this season with manager Unai Emery giving new signings Kylian Mbappe and Neymar priority in attack.

Speaking to Football London, former Spurs player and manager Hoddle reckons Spurs will get the best out of speed machine Moura but also claimed that the Brazilian has got work to do if he is to prove his worth.

“On reflection, he looks like he’s got pedigree,” Hoddle said. “He’s not done anything outstanding at PSG, but he looks the part. I’ve not seen enough of him yet really in big games to see if he will be consistent, but I do think he’ll add to the squad.

“I think he’ll be a good addition. He needs somewhere to settle down, play football and play back-to-back games. I think you’ll see the best of him. He could be really exciting for Spurs, but he’s got a bit of work to do to prove that.”
