Tottenham Hotspur beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in Champions League action last night.

Spurs beat Dortmund 2-1 last night, with Son scoring the winner in the latter stages of the contest.
The South Korean international finished wonderfully, when set up by Dele Alli, to seal the three points for his side.
And Hoddle feels that Son was played in his strongest position by Mauricio Pochettino last night.

Son partnered Harry Kane up-front in Tottenham’s 3-4-3 system yesterday, and Hoddle feels that when the former Bayer Leverkusen man is allowed to work in tandem with Kane, it brings out the best of him.
“He put in a wonderful performance. He really worked hard,” Hoddle said.
“I like the fact that when they play with three at the back, it’s almost like two up-front. He gives Kane a bit more space and time because he’s prepared to run in behind.”

Tottenham’s victory has confirmed that Pochettino’s side will top their Champions League group, in a highly impressive feat.
Spurs’ attention will now turn to Premier League matters, with a match against West Bromwich Albion next on their schedule.
