Glenn Hoddle predicts how far Tottenham Hotspur will get in this season’s Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur have managed to win their Champions League group.

Glenn Hoddle has told BT Sport during their Champions League coverage, which was broadcast on 21st November, that he believes Tottenham Hotspur can make it to the quarter-finals of this season’s Champions League.

Tottenham are still unbeaten in Europe’s premier competition, and confirmed their status as group winners by beating Borussia Dortmund last night.

Spurs have already beaten Real Madrid and Dortmund, twice, in this season’s competition.

And Hoddle has seen enough to suggest that Tottenham have a chance of getting to the latter stages of the Champions League.

He said: “I can see Spurs getting to the quarter-finals, at least.”

Spurs still have one match left to play in the Champions League group stages against APOEL, but Mauricio Pochettino is free to name a weakened line up.

Tottenham’s win over Dortmund last night was impressive, as they had to come from behind to win in Germany.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang fired Dortmund into the lead, but goals from Harry Kane and Heung Min Son sealed the victory for Spurs.

Tottenham’s attention will now return to Premier League matters, with a match against West Bromwich Albion next up.
