Rio Ferdinand and Glenn Hoddle have predicted on BT Sport 1 (11:46am, May 8, 2021) that West Ham United will finish fourth in the Premier League table this season.
Former West Ham star Ferdinand and ex-Tottenham Hotspur ace Hoddle both have placed West Ham fourth in their predicted league table this campaign.
While Hoddle has said that West Ham can be a bit relaxed as they are not under a lot of pressure to absolutely get a Champions League place, Ferdinand believes that lack of fans at London Stadium has helped David Moyes’s side.
Hoddle said: “They have to keep their nerve, West Ham have to keep their nerve. They can be more relaxed about it, let’s be fair.”
Ferdinand said: “West Ham, I think have benefited more than most having no fans there. With them fans in there, it’s a hard place to play, the demand from them fans.”

West Ham are having a wonderful season and are very much in the running for the Champions League places in the Premier League table.
The Hammers are fifth in the league table at the moment with 58 from 34 matches, just three points behind fourth-placed and London rivals Chelsea.
Of course, Moyes’s side are not in control of their destiny, but they will be confident of winning their remaining four league games.
The Hammers’ final matches are against Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton.
