Glenn Hoddle was in attendance for Tottenham Hotspur’s first ever Champions League game at their new stadium.
The ex Spurs player and manager was part of BT Sport’s coverage for the win over Manchester City.
It was an ideal result for Spurs, aside from another ankle injury to Harry Kane.
Hoddle commented on Twitter yesterday afternoon the reflect on the events of Tuesday evening.
He hailed Tottenham’s decision makers for designing and building a spectacular stadium, while also expressing his sympathy for Harry Kane.
Tottenham want their new ground to turn into a fortress and it is a case of ‘so far so good’.
Spurs have won both their fixtures without conceding a goal.
Their next home fixture is against Huddersfield this weekend, followed by Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday April 23.
