Glenn Hoddle says, Luis Sinisterra, scored a ‘great’ winning goal for Leeds United on Tuesday night as Javi Gracia’s side beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Elland Road.
After beating a relegation rival in Wolves before the international break, this was another step in the right direction for the club and Hoddle thinks it’s a ‘wonderful’ result.
What’s even more impressive about Leeds was that they fell 1-0 behind, but by the half-time break, Luis Sinisterra was wheeling away in celebration after scoring his third Premier League goal of the campaign.

From one relegation rival to another on Sunday, this time Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. Once again a home game and this is another huge chance for the Whites to try and move away from the nine-team scrap.
The issue for Leeds, and all the teams around them, is their inconsistency, but that’s probably one of the reasons they are in trouble.
Either way, it was a positive result in midweek and Glenn Hoddle liked what he saw, as he told MatchDay Extra on Premier League Productions (04/04/23 at 10:40 pm).
“This is a great goal because it’s through bodies,” said Hoddle. “He knows what he is doing, Sinisterra. He just wraps his foot around it. He checks twice, you think he is going to hit it there, then goes again and bang!
“It’s a wonderful result for Leeds. They are going to have these cup finals. I think they are at home now against Palace at the weekend, so they have put themselves in a really good position to get out of trouble.”

ELLAND ROAD CROWD
One of the big reasons why Leeds survived last season was because of their home crowd and how difficult they make it for their opponents.
The same is going to be needed for the final few weeks of the season.
From Crystal Palace to Liverpool, there are some big games awaiting the Yorkshire faithful at home, including against another relegation rival, Leicester City.
