Speaking to BT Sport, former England manager Glenn Hoddle has claimed that Liverpool are the one team that people would pay to watch in the Premier League this season.

The Reds have been in impressive form at the beginning of this season, currently sitting level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the table.

They continued their fine form on Saturday afternoon as they ran out 4-2 winners over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The game was an exciting one, to say the least, with Liverpool showing their attacking power to take the lead on three separate occasions.

Hoddle was certainly impressed and praised the Reds during BT Sport’s coverage of the game.

“Liverpool are fantastic to watch, they really are. Of all the teams at the moment in the Premier League, they are the team you would pay to go and watch,” he said.

There is no denying that Liverpool have been exciting to watch so far this season and are playing superb football.

They have already managed to score 24 goals, the joint-second highest alongside Arsenal and just one behind the division’s top scorers Manchester City.

What has been less than impressive has been their defensive record, with them conceding 13 to date, the worst record in the top six.

That will be something they have to drastically improve if they are to be genuine title contenders by the end of the campaign.
