Glenn Hoddle suggests that Arsenal could be danger of losing Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle has suggested in The Daily Mail that Arsenal could be in danger of losing Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Attacking midfielder Ozil and forward Sanchez are two of the best players at Arsenal at the moment.
While Ozil joined the Gunners from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, Sanchez moved to the North London outfit from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
Former Tottenham and Chelsea midfielder Hoddle has suggested that Arsenal could be in danger of losing the duo if they do not show progress in the Champions League.
Arsenal regularly finish in the top four of the Premier League, but Arsene Wenger’s side do not go too far in the Champions League.

“Arsenal’s repeated failure in this competition under Arsene Wenger since they competed in the final in 2006 and the semi-finals in 2009 is more than a curiosity now,” Hoddle wrote in The Daily Mail. “It is becoming a threat to keeping their best players.
“Ozil and Sanchez have yet to commit to new deals with the Gunners. No doubt they will wait to see if Arsenal can compete rather than just make up the numbers in the knock-out stages before they decide where their future lies.”

While Hoddle does have a point, according to a recent report in The Mirror, Ozil and Sanchez are close to agreeing new contracts with Arsenal.
Germany international attacking midfielder Ozil has scored one goal and created six chances in three Premier League appearances for the Gunners so far this season.
Chila international forward Sanchez has scored one goal and created six chances in four league matches for Arsenal so far this campaign.
