Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic were hammered by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Celtic suffered an embarrassing 7-1 defeat at the hands of PSG away from home in Paris in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Although Brendan Rodgers’s side scored an early goal, PSG launched a stirring comeback and eventually hammered the Glasgow giants.
Tottenham legend Hoddle believes that PSG could have scored 12 goals, while former Manchester United and Celtic midfielder Roy Keane has said that the French powerhouse could have found the net as many as 15 times.

“The number of chances they have had, realistically they could have scored at least 10, 12, 15 goals,” said Keane on the UEFA Champions League Highlights show on ITV on Wednesday night (11:33pm, November 22, 2017).
“As Roy says, it could have been 10, 12,” added Hoddle. “It was amazing.”

PSG have one of the strongest teams in Europe, and the way they hammered Celtic should not have come as a surprise to anyone.
Although the Bhoys have some good players, they are not of the level of Neymar or Edinson Cavani.
Celtic still have a chance of dropping to the Europa League from the Champions League this season.
