Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose was re-introduced for Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s match against Borussia Dortmund last night.

Rose’s place in Tottenham’s team has come under threat by Ben Davies this season, with the Welsh international putting in some very strong performances.
Rose is still working his way back to full fitness, having missed pre-season with injury, and his exclusion from Spurs’ match day squad for the North London Derby raised eye brows.

However, Rose was brought back into Tottenham’s team to face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last night.
And Rose’s display impressed Jenas and Hoddle so much, that they still believe he is Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s first choice left-back.
“If it was a Champions League final, who do you think he’d go for? Danny Rose,” Hoddle said.
“Rose, I agree,” Jenas echoed.

Pochettino will hope that he has the dilemma of having to select a left-back for a Champions League final this season.
Tottenham won against Dortmund last night, to ensure that they topped their Champions League group, which should provide them with a favourable draw in the knockout stages of the European competition.
