Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers will finish behind Neil Lennon’s Celtic.
Glen Kamara of Rangers
Steven Gerrard’s side have secured the runners-up spot in the Scottish Premiership table this season, with the Hoops set to clinch the title for the eighth season in a row.
The Gers were in a strong position to genuinely challenge for the league title this campaign, but after the turn of the year, Celtic steamed ahead and the Ibrox club failed to maintain consistency.
Kamara, who joined Rangers from Dundee in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £50,000, has said that he is optimistic about the Gers challenging Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.
The 23-year-old Finland international midfielder told The Scottish Sun: “I’m optimistic about what this team can achieve next season.
“Do we have to push for the title? Yes, 100 per cent. Second place can’t be a thought in my process.”

Important player
Kamara showed what he is capable of during his time at Dundee, and the former Arsenal prospect has already established himself as an important player in the Rangers team.
According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old Finland international midfielder has made nine starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers, scoring one goal in the process.
