Glasgow Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara was in action for Steven Gerrard’s side against Celtic at Ibrox last month.

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has praised the Ibrox fans for their support to the team during the Old Firm derby against Celtic, as quoted in The Scottish Sun.

Steven Gerrard’s side got the better of Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership last month.

It was the final Old Firm derby of the season, and Kamara featured in the game, having joined Rangers from Dundee in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £100,000.

The 23-year-old Finland international midfielder was blown away by the Rangers fans against Celtic and have praised them.

The Scottish Sun quotes Kamara as saying: “It was absolutely crazy. The supporters were so loud. I have never experienced anything like that.”

Important player for Rangers

Kamara has been superb for Rangers since he moved to Ibrox in the January transfer window and has already established himself as an important player in Steven Gerrard’s side.

According to WhoScored, the midfielder made 12 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season, scoring one goal in the process.

Rangers will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.
