Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers beat Partick 2-1 in their most recent outing.

Glasgow Rangers prospect Jamie Barjonas has admitted to the Ibrox side’s official website that Pedro Caixinha’s decision to give him some game time against Partick took him by surprise.
Barjonas was included on Rangers’ bench for their match at Firhill on Sunday, and the 18-year-old was expecting to fulfil a role as a spectator.
The youngster was keen to lap up the experience of being in a match day squad.
But Caixinha actually turned to the midfielder to help Rangers change the game.

With Rangers 1-0 down to Partick, the Light Blues needed a spark, and Barjonas helped Caixinha’s men complete a dramatic late comback.
Rangers hit an equaliser through Barrie McKay, before a 94th minute winner from Joe Garner provided them with the three points.
And Barjonas said: “It feels brilliant. I’ve played for this club for 10, 11 years, and to make my debut is just brilliant. I actually though I wasn’t going to get on and I was just coming along to get the experience, but the gaffer gave me a shout and I am thrilled, but even more thrilled to get the win.
“The gaffer just said to go on, get the ball and play. Also to make sure I took care of the defence by sitting in front of the defence to let the ones in front of me get on the ball and play.”
Barjanos may now be hoping that he can feature again before the end of the season, with Rangers’ next match coming against Hearts at the weekend.
