Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers’ boss Steven Gerrard is said to be interested in signing the Liverpool attacker.

Glasgow Rangers could be taking a big gamble by bringing in Sheyi Ojo from Liverpool.
Rangers need players who can come in at Ibrox an immediately make an impact, as they look to challenge Celtic for the Scottish league title.
However, Gerrard would have to build Ojo’s confidence up if he was to thrive at Rangers.
Ibrox can be an unforgiving place at times, if players aren’t performing, with the demands at Rangers high.
And Ojo would have to show more at Rangers than he has in his previous loan spells in recent times.
Although the 21-year-old is highly regarded, he has made little impact at Wigan, Wolves, Fulham or Reims in the past four seasons.

Ojo has scored just nine goals in 83 senior appearances over the course of his career, and those figures would have to improve considerably if he was to be a success at Rangers.
If Gerrard could get Ojo back to his best then Rangers may just have an attacking weapon to be feared.
But, given Ojo’s past form, Rangers would be taking a leap of faith by bringing him to Ibrox.
