Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are thought to be targeting Benfica’s Daniel Candeias.

Daniel Candeias has opened the door up to a move to Ibrox, after being quizzed about Glasgow Rangers reported interest by Portuguese newspaper Record.
Candeias has been linked with Rangers for much of the summer so far, with the winger said to be on Pedro Caixinha’s wishlist.
And the Benfica man’s latest comments suggest that he would be interested in a move to Rangers.

“It’s always good to have your name linked to big clubs. I know the manager well, because we’ve worked together at Nacional, and if there’s interest we’ll talk,” Candeias said to Record, as translated by Sport Witness.
Rangers are targeting the Portuguese market this summer, with Caixinha clearly using his contacts.
Rangers have already brought in four new signings, and more fresh faces are set to arrive soon.

Candeias spent this past season out on loan from Benfica at Turkish side Alanyaspor, where he scored four goals and claimed four assists.
If Candeias was brought to Rangers, he would increase Caixinha’s attacking options for the upcoming season.
