Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have made significant improvements under Steven Gerrard so far.

Gerrard has impressed during his first stint in management, with Rangers seemingly going from strength to strength.
One of the changes that Gerrard has made since taking charge at Ibrox is to bring in Allan McGregor as Rangers’ number one.
It has meant that Foderingham has been dropped to the bench, but the goalkeeper admits that Gerrard has still impressed him.
Foderingham said: “I think the first thing when the new coaching staff came in was that they wanted to change the mentality of the group and make sure that the group had a winning mentality and a willingness to work hard and improve.
“I think that has been evident on the pitch and the squad has got stronger. We have a couple of boys in each position now that are capable of coming in and doing a good job and that can only help the club as a whole.

“There have been improvements made around the place and the boys want to come in and work.”
Rangers have moved up to second in the Scottish Premiership table, and even picked up a drew with Villarreal in Spain in the Europa League.
The Gers appear to be genuine title contenders this season, even though it is still early, and there is a real confidence building around Ibrox.
Rangers are next in action later this evening, when they take on Ayr in the Scottish League Cup, and Foderingham could be in line to start.
