Rangers hope to welcome Steven Davis back.

Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has delivered some “good news” from the Ibrox camp ahead of their Scottish Premiership trip across Glasgow to face Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Gers travel to Parkhead on Sunday to face Neil Lennon’s Hoops, hoping to secure a second consecutive victory over their bitter following their 1-0 triumph at Ibrox back in December.
Rangers are currently 10 points behind Celtic with eight games remaining this season, and while it’s not impossible, it is a fairly big ask, so the Light Blues will need to be firing on all cylinders.
Since moving on loan from Southampton in January, Steven Davis has only been handed sporadic game time at Ibrox – just four Premiership starts, in fact, and two league games in which he stayed on the bench throughout, according to Transfermarkt.

Nevertheless, Davis was impressive on Northern Ireland duty, captaining his nation as they picked up six points, with the 34-year-old scoring in the game against Estonia and also playing well against Belarus.
Gerrard was happy to see Davis improving as the minutes ticked by in the international games, both in terms of fitness and confidence, and was happy to be able able to count on his services for the big game.
“He has been building up and looking a little bit better and a little bit sharper, but I’m sure he’ll benefit from the two 90 minutes and it will do his confidence the world of good,” the Light Blues boss told Rangers TV, as quoted by the official club website. “He has come back healthy and will be available for the weekend which is good news for us.”
