Rangers ace Ross McCrorie is sitting on the sidelines at Ibrox due to injury.

The young midfielder was establishing himself as a regular in Graeme Murty’s side at Ibrox before suffering a foot injury earlier this month.
McCrorie told the club website that he is getting worked up buy sitting out as his teammates continue their tasks.

Still the 19-year-old makes clear that he will not make an error by pushing to return too soon.
He said: “I’m not going to lie, I’m incredibly frustrated right now.
“Watching everybody train from the window at the gym, as I’m not able to run so I’m only able to do gym work, is frustrating.
“I’ve just got to take my time though as I don’t want to have any longer-term injuries.”
McCrorie’s place in midfield is under threat from the arrivals of Sean Goss on loan, Greg Docherty, and Jordan Rossiter who has returned from injury.
Graham Dorrans remains on the sidelines though, which emphasises just how many options the Gers will have in their squad when everybody is fit.
A spell out of the team won’t hurt McCrorie at this point as Rangers must manage him sensibly to avoid burnout, but he was playing so well before his injury that the frustration on all sides is very understandable.
