Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be interested in the Premier League pair.

According to the Daily Record Glasgow Rangers are lining up a move for Scott Arfield, while the Daily Mail claim that the Ibrox side want James McArthur.
Rangers are keen to strengthen their central midfield, and are looking at the Premier League pair ahead of the summer transfer window.
And Arfield and McArthur, who play for Burnley and Crystal Palace respectively, would be superb additions to Rangers’ squad.

The pair may already be in the peaks of their careers already, but as short-term options they would be a definite improvement on what Rangers already have.
McArthur could provide Rangers with steel and energy in their midfield, and Arfield could add a scoring threat.
Rangers have lacked quality options in central midfield this season, and even though they brought in Greg Docherty in January, it remains an area which needs addressing.

McArthur would certainly help to remedy that problem, and Arfield could play centrally or out wide.
Rangers are hoping to tie the pair up on free transfers, and the potential double-swoop could be a great bargain, if the Ibrox side can pull it off.
