Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be keen to do a deal with Liverpool to bring Ryan Kent to Scotland on a permanent basis.

If Glasgow Rangers can get a permanent move for Ryan Kent completed this month then that would be an even bigger deal that bringing Steven Davis or Jermain Defoe to Ibrox.
Rangers have caught the eye with the business they have completed so far in January, but it seems that Steven Gerrard still wants more additions.
While Defoe and Davis are unquestionably fine additions to Rangers’ squad, they are only likely to be short-term fixes.
Kent, on the other hand, is a player that Gerrard could build his Rangers’ attack around for the years ahead.

The tricky winger has proven in his first few months at Ibrox that he is one of the most dangerous attackers around in Scotland already.
At the age of 22, Kent still has plenty of improvement left in him.
And if Rangers can agree a deal to keep Kent at Ibrox for the long-term, then it will surely be the best bit of business they have done in many years.
