Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are thought to be looking for a striker, with Steven Gerrard aiming to improve his side’s attack.

Glasgow Rangers should hijack Motherwell’s move for Ross McCormack, as he could be a great addition to their squad.

McCormack is said to be considering a switch to Scotland in the Daily Mail, but Rangers should make sure they bring him to Ibrox.

The forward started his career at Rangers before going on to enjoy great success in the Championship in England.

McCormack is currently with Aston Villa, and although he has made very little impact there in recent times, he could still bring a lot of quality to Rangers’ squad.

Steven Gerrard would have to put in work to get McCormack match-sharp, but on his day he could be one of the most dangerous players in Scotland.

McCormack is a goalscorer, but he also offers creativity in deeper areas, as he is a fine passer of the ball.

And with Gerrard looking for a spark in the final third after January, McCormack could make a great addition to Rangers’ team.
