Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers should sign up Southampton forward Sam Gallagher.

Pedro Caixinha has suggested that Glasgow Rangers want another two signings this summer to the Daily Record – and the Ibrox side, therefore, should consider making a move for Sam Gallagher.

Rangers have struggled for goals over pre-season, which suggests that a new striker could be an important addition.

And Rangers should contemplate making Gallagher their top priority to sign over the coming weeks, as the youngster has the capabilities to be a prolific forward in Scotland.

Gallagher is regarded highly at Southampton, but could be allowed to leave on loan according to the Express and Star.

Rangers should now consider making Gallagher their top priority, as Caixinha looks to put the finishing touches on his squad.

Rangers have brought in a whole host of new players this summer, but many of them have no proven track record in British football.

Gallagher, however, was a major threat in the Championship last term with Blackburn Rovers.

And if Rangers managed to bring the prospect to Ibrox, he could increase the quality of their attack for the upcoming campaign.
