Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers could have success by bringing Jack Rodwell in from Sunderland.

Glasgow Rangers should consider ending Jack Rodwell’s nightmare spell at Sunderland and taking the midfielder to Ibrox.
Rodwell surely has no way of getting back to his best at Sunderland, after years of dismal performances.
The Stadium of Light crowd have waited patiently for Rodwell to show the same sort of form that he did as a youngster, when in an Everton shirt.

However, Rodwell has never been able to get back to his best and a fresh start looks best for everyone.
Rodwell’s options in England could well be limited now, as his dire form at Sunderland is sure to have put clubs off.
However, Rangers could benefit from bringing Rodwell to Ibrox and giving him the opportunity to start afresh.
Celtic made a similar move with Scott Sinclair, while he was struggling at Aston Villa, and it has worked wonders for Brendan Rodgers men.

While Rangers would have to find a way to afford Rodwell’s wages, the 26-year-old should consider taking a salary cut, if he really wants to get his career back on track.
And Rangers would know that if they could get Rodwell to perform to the highest of his ability, he would be one of the best players in Scotland.
Rodwell could offer Rangers energy, power and technical ability in midfield – and with Sunderland surely looking to offload him, Pedro Caixinha should seriously consider making a bid for the midfielder in January.
