Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers crashed out of the Europa League at the first hurdle last night.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has been hammered by Aberdeen fans, after the Ibrox side’s exit from the Europa League last night.

Jack left Aberdeen to join Rangers earlier this summer, and he stated soon after joining the Gers that he couldn’t wait for European nights at Ibrox.

However, Rangers crashed out of the Europa League to minnows Progres last night.

Progres had never before won a European tie, but they overcame the Gers’ challenge.

Aberdeen are yet to even enter the competition, and Dons fans were quick to remind Jack of his comments about joining Rangers, after Pedro Caixinha’s side’s exit.

Jack played in both legs of Rangers’ tie, but failed to make the desired impact.

Rangers were expected to cruise through to the next round of qualifying, but found their opponents from Luxembourg too strong.

Rangers’ shock exit has caused an angry response from supporters of the Glasgow side.

Caixinha is now under serious pressure, with many Rangers fans calling for the Portuguese boss to be sacked.
