Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers new boy Ryan Jack was teammates with Celtic forward Jonny Hayes at Aberdeen last season.

Glasgow Rangers new boy Ryan Jack has told the Telegraph that he is not surprised that Jonny Hayes is moving to Celtic.
Jack and Hayes were two of Aberdeen’s most important players over the past campaign, but the pair are set to head to pastures new this summer.
Hayes is expected to sign for Brendan Rodgers’ side in the near future (BBC Sport), while Jack has been training with Rangers since the start of pre-season.

And Jack is not surprised that Celtic have decided to snap up Hayes.
“In the last two seasons, he was probably one of our standout players at Aberdeen,” Jack said.
“If he is ambitious, he is going to want to move away. That’s part of football.”
Hayes was one of Aberdeen’s major attacking threats last campaign, scoring 11 times and claiming 24 assists.

Hayes is expected to improve Celtic’s attacking options for next campaign, as Rodgers’ side aim to retain their Scottish Premiership crown.
Jack, meanwhile, will have a key role to play in Rangers’ midfield.
Jack has been one of a number of additions which Rangers have made this summer, with Pedro Caixinha working hard to improve his team at Ibrox.
