The Croatian has barely featured for Rangers since his summer move to Ibrox.

As reported by the Daily Record, Rangers midfielder Niko Kranjcar will miss the rest of the season due to injury.
The former Croatia international has been side-lined after suffering a cruciate knee injury back in October but it had previously been suggested that he could be back in action before the end of the current campaign.
However Kranjcar has admitted that he is working towards being ready for next season, when the Gers will be hoping to challenge Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.
“My recovery has gone very well, everyone is happy with it,” the Rangers player told the Daily Record.
“Everything has gone to plan. I believe I will be ready for next season.”
Given the extent of Kranjcar’s injury it is no surprise that neither he, nor interim Rangers boss Graeme Murty, are rushing him back.

It is far better that he is able to train lightly in the coming months before having a full pre-season under his belt in a bid to make a significant impact at Ibrox next season.
Prior to his setback, Kranjcar had turned out 15 times for Rangers, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process.
