Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have utilised Josh Windass and Declan John down the left-hand side recently.

Windass has usually been teamed up with Lee Wallace down Rangers’ left-hand side since arriving at Ibrox.
However, John has stepped into Rangers’ first-team over recent weeks, and the Cardiff City loanee has impressed.
John scored twice in Rangers’ last match before the international break, with his attacking qualities catching the eye.

John is a constant menace to opposition defences from full-back, and Windass admits that he has to restrain his own play when the Welsh international is in the starting line-up.
“If I keep playing the way I am then the goals will come, I am creating chances and doing well going forward so hopefully I can keep that going. I am really enjoying playing down the left with Declan at the minute,” Windass said.
“Waldo is a brilliant player but playing with Dec is different, he dribbles with the ball quite a lot and sometimes takes me out the game so I have to fill in which I don’t like doing too much!”

Rangers are likely to start with both Windass and John in their next match, which comes against St. Johnstone on Friday evening.
The Light Blues went into the international break on the back of a 4-1 victory over Hamilton, and the hope for Pedro Caixinha’s men will be that the two week hiatus has not disrupted their momentum.
If Rangers beat St. Johnstone in two days’ time, they will move to within three points of top of the table Celtic.
