Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have already made eight new signings this summer, with Pedro Caixinha making huge changes.

Glasgow Rangers fans appear to be hoping that they will make a move to bring Allan McGregor back to Ibrox.

McGregor is currently playing for Hull City, but he looks set to move on this summer.

Hearts are believed to be close to bringing the 35-year-old back to Scotland, according to a report in the Scotsman.

Hull's Allan McGregor

However, Rangers fans are hoping that Pedro Caixinha will hijack the deal, and bring the veteran stopper back to Ibrox.

McGregor first played for Rangers between 2001 and 2012, and is still very highly regarded by the Glasgow side.

McGregor came through Rangers’ youth ranks, and was always a very solid stopper during his time with the Light Blues.

Rangers currently have Wes Foderingham in goal, and Caixinha is not thought to be looking for a new stopper.

However, Rangers fans appear to feel that McGregor would be an upgrade and Foderingham.

McGregor didn’t make an appearance for Hull last season, and he will be hoping for more first-team action at his next club.
