Glasgow Rangers lost at Killie in the Scottish Premiership and some Ibrox faithful don’t fancy their chances in the cup after Cowdenbeath.

Glasgow Rangers had to wait a while to get the chance of progressing in the Scottish Cup after their original fixture against Cowdenbeath in the fourth round was called off due to a frozen pitch.
On Wednesday night the Ibrox side raced ahead at the Central Park Stadium after just 12 minutes through Andy Halliday, who got the better of Kyle Miller before firing low past goalkeeper David McGurn from 18 yards.
Rangers then doubled their advantage in the 26th minute when Kyle Lafferty flicked on a corner and, after Jermain Defoe’s shot was blocked, Lassana Coulibaly rifled home on the rebound.
There was time for another goal from Steven Gerrard’s side before the break, Lafferty scoring with a cool finish in first-half injury time, and even though Cowdenbeath struck back just after the restart through David Cox, it proved just a consolation.
Rangers’ reward for their 3-1 win is now a trip Kilmarnock in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup next Saturday and it will be a chance for them to get revenge over their fellow Scottish Premiership title challengers, who claimed a 2-1 win over the Light Blues at Rugby Park last week.
Here is how some of the Ibrox faithful reacted on Twitter to the upcoming cup fixture at Killie:
