Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers will be sweating on Barisic’s fitness ahead of Sunday’s Scottish Premiership trip to Parkhead.

Glasgow Rangers defender Borna Barisic has handed the Ibrox side a potential injury scare just seven days before their Scottish Premiership clash with Old Firm rivals Celtic.
The left-back was named in the starting XI for Croatia’s Euro 2020 Group E qualifier with Hungary on Sunday but limped off after less than half an hour played at Budapest’s Groupama Arena.
The Daily Record reports that the 26-year-old has picked up a muscle injury in his leg and, although there is no indication as of yet into the severity of the injury, he was unable to carry on in the game.
Barisic has been close to finding his best form in recent weeks for club and country and scored for Croatia in the 2-1 win over Azerbaijan on Thursday, but Rangers will be sweating over updates on his condition ahead of the Old Firm derby.
Here is how some Gers fans reacted on Twitter upon finding out that Barisic limped off on international duty:
Andy Halliday has filled in on the left of defence for Steven Gerrard’s side and would likely be first option ahead of Jon Flanagan, who has barely featured for the Light Blues since January.
