Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers failed to make it through in the Europa League last night.

Glasgow Rangers captain James Tavernier’s message to supporters after Steven Gerrrard’s side went out of the Europa League yesterday has not gone down well.
Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Rapid Vienna last night, as they failed to do enough to make it out of their group.
Gerrard’s men needed to win in the Austrian capital to progress, but they didn’t prove much of a threat.
Tavernier tried to apologise to Rangers fans for failing to deliver, but his message did not go down unanimously well.
While some Rangers fans appreciated the note, others were left angry about the performance they had seen from their side.
Rangers set up fairly defensively in the contest, as they wanted to avoid going behind early.
However, Gerrard’s side just did not trouble Vienna enough.
Rangers’ best chance of the contest came early on when Connor Goldson had a free header from a set piece, but his effort hit the bar and bounced away to safety.
