Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard was at his straight talking best in his latest press conference.

Glasgow Rangers fans love how Steven Gerrard dealt with questioning at his latest press conference.
Gerrard and Jordan Rossiter were put up in front of the media yesterday, and one journalist asked what Rossiter made of his manager’s comments earlier in the week.
Gerrard had suggested that Rangers players needed to step up and start producing more, otherwise he would replace them earlier in the week.
And when Rossiter was asked to give his opinion on the comments, Gerrard quickly interjected.
He said: “I’ll answer that. It’s a warning. That’s for me that, not him. He’s been injured for two years.
“At a big club, you expect big players to step up on big occasions and provide big moments. If that doesn’t happen, at any big club, the manager and recruitment find better players or players who will do that.”
Rangers supporters loved the way that Gerrard dealt with the question, and praised their manager for being so authoritative.
Gerrard has certainly taken Rangers forward since arriving at Ibrox in the summer, although there is still a lot of work to be done.
Rangers’ semi-final defeat has caused frustration around Ibrox, and has to be seen as a set back.
Rangers can go some way to making amends for that defeat by picking up three points this evening against Kilmarnock in the league.
