Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are expected to be active in the summer transfer window.

Rangers vies with Oliver manager Steven Gerrard is seen during the Ladbrokes Premier League match between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park on March 31, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Glasgow Rangers fans are concerned over what they have heard about their summer plans so far.

Steven Gerrard has already suggested that Rangers are in the market to bring new players to Ibrox in the summer.

However, the names that have emerged as Rangers’ transfer targets have become a concern for many fans.

Rangers are said to be interested in the likes of Jordan Jones, Graeme Shinnie (Daily Record), Jake Hastie (Open Goal), Greg Stewart (Daily Record) and Daniel Bachmann (Scotsman).

But Rangers supporters are worried that the names mentioned are not enough to improve them.

Rangers have shown signs of progression this season since Gerrard took charge, but they have still not closed the gap enough.

Celtic look set to win the Scottish Premiership title again in relatively comfortable circumstances.

Rangers will have money to spend over the summer though, and whether more ambitious targets will emerge as the transfer window draws closer remains to be seen.

Rangers Manager, Steven Gerrard arrives prior to the Ladbrokes Scottish Premier League between Celtic and at Ibrox Stadium on December 29, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.
