And Flanagan, in particular, got a battering from a frustrated section of Rangers fans on Twitter.
Rangers had taken the lead against Kilmarnock early on, when Alfredo Morelos converted after breaking clear, but they were quickly pegged back.
Steven Gerrard’s men then never showed the attacking poise or class to restore their advantage.
Gerrard was left fuming after the match, as his side have now disappointed in their last two outings.
Rangers are next in action at the weekend, when they take on St. Mirren.
