Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers look set to keep hold of Alfredo Morelos after Steven Gerrard’s latest comments.

Glasgow Rangers fans are fully behind Steven Gerrard’s glowing praise of Alfredo Morelos, which suggests that the striker will be kept at Ibrox next term.
Morelos’ form towards the back end of last season tailed off, with the Rangers forward struggling for goals.
The rapid front man has been linked with a move away from Rangers this summer, with his future up in the air.

However, Gerrard has quickly moved to suggest that Morelos could be a key player for him at Rangers next term.
“We love the player. The fans love the player,” Gerrard said to the Daily Record.
“He’s a goal scorer. We know what he can add to this team and squad.”
Rangers fans are delighted with the comments, as they are keen to see what Morelos can do under Gerrard’s leadership.
Morelos is likely to have more competition for the striker’s role at Rangers next term, as Gerrard is expected to bring in a new forward this summer.
Gerrard has already been busy in the transfer market since taking charge at Ibrox, with a number of new faces arriving.
In total, Morelos made 43 appearances for Rangers last term, and managed to hit the back of the net on 18 occasions.
