Rangers could only manage to grab a 0-0 draw against Hibernian, with Steven Gerrard’s side losing their spot at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
And Rangers’ fans frustrations were clear on Twitter, with Coulibaly taking some criticism on social media, although others were quick to defend him.
Coulibaly made a brilliant start at Ibrox after signing in the summer, but his form has dipped in recent weeks.
Gerrard picked him to play in a more advanced position last night, but Rangers just were not able to take their chances.
Rangers dominated the match for large periods, but could not capitalise and put the ball in the back of the net.
Alfredo Morelos missed a host of good opportunities, as Gerrard’s frustrations about his side’s lack of cutting edge continued to grow.
Rangers are next in action on Sunday when they take on St. Johnstone.
