Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have signed Jon Toral on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season.

Jon Toral’s miserable time at Glasgow Rangers so far has continued, after his performance against St. Johnstone last night.

Toral was brought in on loan by Rangers during the January transfer window, and there were great expectations about the Arsenal man.

Toral has previously impressed at both Birmingham City and Brentford in the Championship, but he has struggled in Glasgow so far.

The 22-year-old has not managed to show his best form, and Rangers fans are losing patience with him.

Toral was brought off in the final ten minutes of Rangers’ match yesterday, as his temporary side picked up a 3-2 victory.

Rangers had taken a 2-0 lead in the contest, but they were pegged back twice by St. Johnstone in the latter stages of the encounter.

But, just as it seemed Rangers were heading towards another disappointing draw, Emerson Hyndman came to the rescue for Graeme Murty’s side and lashed home a winner.

Rangers have now closed the gap on third placed Aberdeen, and are back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats.
