Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers new boss Steven Gerrard has put Andy Halliday in the Light Blues’ squad for their upcoming Europa League match.

Glasgow Rangers fans are in disagreement with Steven Gerrard’s decision to name Andy Halliday as part of the Ibrox side’s European squad.
Rangers are set to take on Shkupi tomorrow in Gerrard’s first game, and Halliday has been included in the squad of eligible players.

Eduardo Herrera, Harry Forrester, Lee Wallace and Fabio Cardoso have all missed out on Rangers’ squad.
But the news that Halliday has been included has led to some Rangers fans wanting Gerrard to part company with the midfielder.
Halliday could well still leave Rangers this summer, but Gerrard seems to be giving him a chance.
Rangers have strengthened their midfield ranks, and if Halliday does remain at Ibrox, he will surely only be a covering option.
Rangers loaned out Hallday to Gabala last term, but he only stayed with the Azerbaijani side for six months, before coming back and filling in at left-back for Graeme Murty’s side towards the back end of the campaign.
