Glasgow Rangers defender Declan John has made a blistering start to life at Ibrox.

Declan John may just be making it impossible for Glasgow Rangers not to make an attempt to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of his current loan deal.
John has been snapped up from Cardiff City, and is due to spend the campaign representing the Ibrox side.
The youngster had minimal first-team experience before moving to Rangers, but he has wasted no time making an impression.

The Welsh international scored twice in Rangers’ most recent fixture, and Pedro Caixinha has already spoken positively about the 22-year-old’s talents.
While John’s start should still be treated with caution, the initial signs have been very promising.

John appears to have the attacking quality to be a major threat for Rangers, but he has also looked very solid at the back.
And if he continues to put in performances of such a high standard then he will leave Caixinha with no choice but to make an attempt to sign him permanently off Cardiff next summer.
