Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten for the first time by Celtic yesterday at Parkhead.

Goldson experienced his first taste of the Parkhead crowd after moving to Rangers in the summer in the Old-Firm derby yesterday.
And even Rangers man Goldson would admit that the atmosphere at Parkhead could rival the one created at Ibrox.
He said: “It is probably some of the best atmospheres in the world at both stadiums so they [referees] are going get swayed a bit. I am not here to criticise him but I think he has made a wrong decision [for the goal].”
Goldson’s complaints relate to the only goal in the contest, when Celtic broke, but Rangers felt Ryan Jack had been fouled by Tom Rogic.

Rangers had defended resolutely up until that point, but were undone by a swift Celtic counter.
In the end it was Olivier Ntcham who put the ball beyond Rangers stopper Allan McGregor and not the back of an empty net.
The defeat against Celtic was Steven Gerrard’s first since he arrived at Ibrox in the summer, and means that Rangers are already playing catch up in the race to finish as Glasgow’s top club.
