Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are currently progressing well, with Connor Goldson impressing in Steven Gerrard’s side.

Goldson was carrying a knock throughout Rangers’ match with Celtic, and he was struggling badly with the pain at half-time.
However, Goldson was determined to see out of the game for Rangers, and refused to be taken off.
The centre-back’s decision ultimately didn’t prove costly, as Rangers ran out 1-0 winners over their rivals at Ibrox.
But, in hindsight, Goldson admits he probably should have asked Gerrard to take him off the pitch.
He said: “The injury happened in the Hibs game when McGregor landed on me. He’s a big boy. We both went up for a header and he landed on my ankle.
“It was my decision to go back out in the second half. It was probably silly but you just think if you get running it will wear off and you can play through it.

“But I couldn’t move. The manager said to me at half-time, ‘Can you?’ I said, ‘Yes, I’m fine,’ but I probably shouldn’t have.”
Goldson has now had time to recover from the problem over the winter break, and should be fully fit again by the next time Rangers are in action.
The Light Blues’ victory over Celtic has put them level on points with Brendan Rodgers’ men at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Rangers’ next match comes on in just over a week’s time, when they take on Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup fourth round.
