Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and Leeds United are both keen admirers of Oliver McBurnie.

Glasgow Rangers should be delighted that Leeds United have decided against putting Oliver McBurnie at the top of their striking shortlist.
Rangers were expected to face fierce competition in the race to sign the youngster, but one of their main rivals seems to be pondering whether the move would be a good one.

If Rangers move early for McBurnie, Leeds could be too busy chasing their other, higher priority targets to give them any real competition.

And that should encourage Steven Gerrard’s side to move sooner rather than later.
McBurnie is a staunch Rangers supporter, and he could be a great addition at Ibrox.
The powerful forward has scored nine times in just 17 Championship appearances while on loan at Barnsley this season, and looks to have the potential to lead the line at Rangers for the years ahead.
