Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have made no secret of their desire to sign players in January.

Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard’s anger at his side’s lack of ruthlessness against Hamilton will surely just make him even more determined to bring a striker to Ibrox in January.
Gerrard complained following Rangers’ 1-0 win on Sunday that his team had failed to put the game to bed.
And Gerrard’s anger at the lack of killer instinct in Rangers’ team was clear once again at his latest press conference.
“We debriefed the Hamilton game this morning,” he said to the Telegraph. “We had 22 corners in to the area – a lot of them good deliveries – we crossed the ball 40 times and we had 15 attempts on goal. We created enough to win that game more comfortably than we did. It’s important the players learn from that and find that killer instinct.
“When chances are presented, go and finish teams off. If we do that, we can get players off the pitch and rest them for future games. We didn’t have that luxury because it’s difficult to make changes in your back four when you only have a one-goal lead.”

Given that Gerrard has already made no secret of his desire to bring in a striker at Rangers, it seems that a new number nine arriving is now almost inevitable.
Rangers have only further convinced their manager that a new striker is needed through their recent performances.
While Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty are both strong options, Gerrard wants more competition for the spot up top.
And his latest comments suggest he will be more determined than ever before to ensure that a new front man arrives at Ibrox as soon as possible next month.
