Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are set to allow some of their players to depart before the close of the transfer window, with Steven Gerrard planning changes.

Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has stated at his latest press conference that more departures will come at Ibrox this summer.
Rangers have just let go off Daniel Candeias, which has caused some disappointment around Ibrox.
Candeias was a Rangers’ fan favourite, but Gerrard has brought in a whole host of players, and has been knocked down the pecking order.
It could now be that more follow him at the exit door at Rangers, as Gerrard looks to clear the decks.
Gerrard’s comments surely put the likes of Kyle Lafferty and Eros Grezda under threat of leaving Rangers.
The attacking pair both appear to have fallen out of favour with Gerrard, and it could be that they are now moved on.
Gerrard has previously suggested that Rangers could still make another signing before the close of the transfer window, which will only increase competition further.
Rangers are next in action tomorrow evening, when they take on Progres.
