Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have made vast improvements since Steven Gerrard took over.

Rangers have invested heavily in their team and on improvements off the field over the past year.
But Gerrard feels that the money that Rangers have spent has been intelligent, as it has helped them improve.
He said: “There’s a board meeting on the horizon as well, so we’ll get a flavour of how we’ve done from a financial point of view, but that’s not really my concern. Mine is to worry about what happens on the pitch.
“In terms of that, I think the squad is better and the team is better. We have made some progress and we have improved.
“From the trophy side of it we fell short and we have to be honest and open about that and analyse it. But in terms of where the team and the squad is now, 12 months in, I’m actually quietly pleased.”

Rangers have cut the gap to Celtic heavily over the course of the season, even if they haven’t yet been able to end their rival’s dominance of Scottish football.
Rangers are sat just six points behind the Bhoys in the Scottish Premiership table, and they were far superior to them in the last Old-Firm Derby.
Rangers won 2-0 at Ibrox last weekend, with Gerrard’s men highly impressive in the contest.
The Light Blues are expected to be active again in the summer, as Gerrard has already hinted that he has big transfer plans for the upcoming window.
