Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers defender James Tavernier has attracted interest from the Premier League.

Steven Gerrard has admitted to the Scotsman that all of Glasgow Rangers’ players are up for sale, although he feels that the Ibrox side will demand more money for them now.

Rangers have put in some fairly impressive performances this term, and James Tavernier is now being linked with a move to England.

Brighton are said to want the Rangers full-back, and Gerrard has made no promises that he will stay.

However, the Light Blues boss insists that if Tavernier does leave Rangers it will only be for mega money.

“I would be surprised if teams don’t come [for Tavernier] because he’s been absolutely fabulous for me,” he said. “Every player has their price but if the price is not right then he does not go anywhere. He stays as my captain.

“All my players are for sale. Let’s get it out in the open. Every single one of my players is for sale. They have all got a price. But they are not the old prices.

“It’s the new prices. So if you want them, then come with loads of money and you can have them.”

Rangers will not want want to lose Tavernier, but he is not the only player i their current squad attraction attention.

Alfredo Morelos’ strong form in front of goal has also raised eye browns, so Rangers could face a battle to keep their squad together in January.

Rangers won 3-1 against top of the league Hearts yesterday, to ensure that they kept themselves within touching distance of the top of the table.

Rangers are next in action when they take on Hamilton at the weekend.
