Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have had a mixed set of results since Pedro Caixinha took charge so far.
Pedro Caixinha has suggested to the Daily Record that he has already made his mind up about a number of Glasgow Rangers’ players.
Caixinha has only been in charge at Rangers for just over a month, but he is already formulating plans for next season.
The Portuguese boss has hinted that Rangers are set to sell some players, who he feels are surplus to requirements at Ibrox.
“I also said from the beginning we need a strong youth level, squad level and also to bring in Scottish and international players,” Caixinha said.
“Do you want me to tell you names of the ones that are being told to get out and the ones that are coming in?
“I’m not going to do that. It’s my job to make these changes and that’s what I’m doing. My opinion has not changed on the back of last week’s match and I told the players before the game as well.”
Caixinha’s time at Rangers so far has been a mixed success.
The Light Blues went unbeaten through Caixinha’s first five matches in charge, but were poor against Celtic last weekend.
The Bhoys won the Old-Firm derby 2-0 at Hampden Park, and Rangers’ performance was poor throughout the contest.
Caixinha has promised that Rangers will close the gap on Celtic next season, though, and has ambitious plans at the Glasgow club.
Rangers are next in action this weekend, when they take on Celtic in the Old-Firm derby.
