The supporters of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers seem to have completely written of Rob Kiernan.

Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha needs to drop Rob Kiernan, after his latest showing at Ibrox.

Kiernan was brought straight back into Rangers’ starting line-up, after suspension, for their match against Motherwell.

However, the centre-back failed to impress once again – with many Rangers fans questioning his shaky performance against Motherwell.

Rangers could only pick up a 1-1 draw in their latest outing, after a disappointing display.

And Rangers fans have suggested that Caixinha’s is making a mistake by putting his faith in Kiernan.

Kiernan’s showings this season have not made him very popular at Rangers, with questions marks now forming over his future at the Glasgow club.

Whether Caixinha will stick by Kiernan remains to be seen, but Mark Warburton admitted dropping the defender due to the pressure that Rangers fans were putting on him (Daily Record).

And the Ibrox crowd’s relationship with Kiernan now appears irreparable, which makes taking Kiernan out of the firing line the most sensible option for Caixinha.
