Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have won their first two domestic matches this season.
Alves and Dorrans both joined Rangers this summer, and the pair have immediately impressed for their new team.
Dorrans scored twice on debut, while Alves has looked very commanding in Rangers’ defence.

The Portuguese centre-back even got on the scoresheet in midweek, as Rangers crushed Dunfermline in the Scottish League Cup.
And Caixinha has suggested that Dorrans and Alves are a major reason behind Rangers’ big improvement in recent weeks.
“Since Bruno (Alves) and (Graham) Dorrans arrived we have improved and by a few more weeks we will have improved even more,” the Portuguese boss said.
“It depends on the moment, it depends on whether the team is winning and the confidence is there. At the moment the confidence is there with us.
“But you have seen in the last four games that the team is getting stronger and stronger and that’s something we want to replicate in every game.”
When Rangers crashed out of the Europa League there were huge concerns about where Caixinha’s side would finish this season.
However, confidence is building at Ibrox – and Rangers appear to be improving by the game.
Rangers are next in action this weekend, when the take on Hibernian tomorrow.
